THE ZISO EXPERIENCE
Doctor Ziso is a well know Street Artists whose work is featured in several cities around the country.
Christian H. Duque, also known as "dr.ziso37", hails from Puerto Rico but now calls Las Vegas, NV home. He discovered his passion for the arts at a young age, particularly excelling as a graffiti artist. Christian attended the School of Fine Arts in Ponce, PR, where he initially turned to graffiti as a form of self-expression. Making a name for himself as an urban artist in the southern region of the island, he quickly gained recognition as one of the youngest talents in the area.
In 2009, he relocated to Houston, TX for a number of years, actively participating in urban art events like the "Meeting of Styles" festival and other artistic gatherings. Upon returning to Puerto Rico in 2015, Christian embarked on a new artistic journey, founding "Ponce Renace" in 2016, the city's inaugural formal urban art event featuring over 30 local and international artists.
In 2017, he collaborated on the "La Perla paints the future" project, overseeing the creation of a four-story Puerto Rican flag mural in La Perla. That same year, Christian took part in the first edition of "yaucromatic" in Yauco. Tragically, after Hurricane Maria struck, he passed away.
Upon settling in Las Vegas, Christian embarked on a full-time career as an artist, gaining recognition for his vibrant use of colors, incorporating splashes, explosions, and drips of paint, along with his signature Heart with Wings motif.
Ziso has completed numerous artworks in prominent locations across the city, including 5 art installations at Area 15, Container Park, Oasis Hotel lobby, Western Hotel lobby, Las Vegas Blvd, Fremont St, and more.
